2 Releases, 1 Release Manager

Today is a good day to be an E17 snapshot user, because I’ve just released another one for the enjoyment of the masses. So go forth and enjoy it. Then when you’re done, enjoy the second snapshot I released later in the day to account for the fact that I will be on vacation next week.

Ticket #1525: keyboard launch of programs crashes e

Unfortunately, I spotted this one after doing the snapshot, so now this week’s snapshot is extra crash-ful. On the other hand, it was easy to fix, which is a big plus.

Ticket #1526: Edge bindings can’t be modified if made clickable

A confusing bug, but easily solved.

Ticket #1527: Minor efm filename display error with ampersands

Failure to escape textblock markup when setting text to a textblock leads to unexpected behavior, so now we escape the markup when filenames are textblocks.

Other items of note from today:

  • DND from EFM to other applications will no longer sometimes cause those applications to permanently remain in DND state
  • Shelf (not gadget) menus now once again contain the option to begin moving gadgets
  • EFM crashes much less
  • Launching random commands from keybinds crashes much less (than it did for a few hours earlier today)
  • List headers now apply proper even/odd styles
  • Sandwiches
